Top Ten Iconic Disney Songs?
To each his own is a common phrase for when something can be very opinionated, but the opinion is only a matter of preference. When it comes to the most iconic Disney songs, there will be some classics that will probably be found on most lists, but there will also be others that are very iconic to the person compiling the list. Why? Because music holds different experiences for many people and can influence decisions based on those experiences.
For example, someone may have a very special memory attached to an early musical Disney animated movie but the songs from that movies aren’t songs that make many top playlists; yet to that person, the song in question is absolutley an iconic Disney song to them. That is something so awesome about music! Indeed, to each his own!
Daily Music Roll is an online music magazine that created their top ten iconic Disney songs. I would definitely include some of their top ten in my top ten, but not all of them. Here’s their list of ton ten most iconic Disney songs:
Hakuna Matata (The Lion King)
Circle of Life (The Lion King)
Let it Go (Frozen)
I See the Light (Tangled)
A Whole New World (Aladdin)
You’ve Got a Friend in Me (Toy Story)
Remember Me (Coco)
Un Poco Loco (Coco)
Under the Sea (The Little Mermaid)
Reflection (Mulan)
While I personally would put several of those in the top ten, most I would not. I have so many great memories of being at the Magic Kingdom with my mom and dad as a kid, as well as special memories tied into Disney films through the years. So without anymore delay, here’s my current *top ten most iconic Disney songs from Disney Parks and Disney movies:
A Whole New World
Can You Feel the Love Tonight
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Da
Under the Sea
Circle of Life
You’ve Got a Friend in Me
* Subject to change based on mood, new movies, looking through pictures of vacations at Disney World, etc. Isn’t that the great thing about music?
